1988

Humon Group, established in 1988.

was a county enterprise in the earlier stage known as “Muping Cyaniding Factory”. It smelted and produced gold with roasting cyanide process and produced sulfate at the same time. The first and second phase of the project were respectively accomplished and put into production in 1991 and 1995.

1994

In 1994, it was restructured to a limited liability company of state holding and employee holding and renamed as “Muping Oriental Smelting Co., Ltd.”

1997

In 1997, it was regulated and renamed as “Shandong Oriental Smelting Co., Ltd.” with the approval of Shandong People’s Government.

2002

In 2002, all its state-owned shares were withdrawn.

Since 1996, it has purchased successively seven gold mines such as the original “Muping Jinniu Mountain Gold Mine”, “Muping Hagou Mountain Gold Mine” and “Muping Fuludi Gold Mine”, etc. and the enterprises such as the original “Muping Chemical Factory”, “Muping Phosphate Fertilizer Plant” and “Muping Detergent Factory”, etc. and developed the projects such as machinery, printing, clothing, foreign trade, catering and tourism, etc.

In 2002, the company took the lead in introducing the advanced technology of foreign gold concentrates in the industry to realize upgrade in the shortest time.

2003

In order to promote sustainable, healthy and rapid development, the company optimized assets and established Yantai Humon Group in Jun. 2003.

2004

Humon Group acquired the original Rushan Chemical Factory and dispatched the first batch of personnel to settle in and establish Weihai Humon Chemical Co., Ltd; Humon Corporation has introduced the two-stage roasting technology from Sweden's Boliden Company to officially commence the construction of the complex refractory gold concentrate renovation project, which was completed and put into operation in December of the same year.

2005

Hengbang Group established Heilongjiang Shuangyashan Qixinghe Mining Co., Ltd; Acquire Yantai Donggang Corrosion Resistant Pump Co., Ltd. and establish Yantai Humon Pump Industry Co., Ltd.

2006

Weihai Humon Chemical Company held a launch ceremony for the 100000 ton sulfuric acid and gold smelting project, marking the start of its ignition and start-up.

2007

Yantai Humon Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. was established; The 100000 ton ammonium phosphate project of Weihai Humon Chemical Company has started commissioning, and the 60000 ton ammonium phosphate project has also been successfully tested.

2008

In 2008, the Group subsidiary, Shandong Humon Smelting Co., Ltd., was successfully listed, which became the milestone of the enterprise development, and motivated the rapid expansion and development of the Group. The enterprise seized new development opportunity, incessantly improved the overall strength with capital operation, and strived to create the most competitive enterprise of gold smelting and resources comprehensive utilization in China. The enterprise invested successively more than RMB one billion on purchase of a batch of gold mines, and construction of new large projects, and will put them into production in succession. The Group’s strength has been greatly enhanced, and is qualified for rapid expansion and development. Its four large plates are gradually formed, which include “Gold Mines Smelting, Chemical Production, Mechanical Manufacturing and Commercial Distribution”.

2011

The group's revenue has exceeded ten billion yuan. The Mouping District Party Committee and District Government held a celebration ceremony at Humon Corporation to celebrate the sales revenue of Humon Group exceeding 6 billion yuan, and awarded the title of "Mouping District Industrial and Economic Development Meritorious Enterprise" to Humon Group.

2012

Humon Group was awarded the title of "2011 District Taxation Meritorious Enterprise with Over 100 Million RMB" by the Muping District Committee and Government; Humon Corporation has been approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission to issue 1.1 billion yuan of five-year corporate bonds; Yantai Humon Liquor Company held its unveiling ceremony.

2013

Humon Corporation has made significant breakthroughs in geological exploration, with nearly 70 tons of proven gold reserves.

2014

Humon Corporation has been awarded the title of "Top 10 Gold Smelting Enterprises in China", ranking first.

2015

The innovation and industrialization demonstration project of oxygen bottom blowing copper smelting technology of Humon Co., Ltd. has passed the acceptance of Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Weihai Humon Chemical Co., Ltd.'s "Humon Eldi" trademark has been recognized as a famous trademark in Shandong Province by the Shandong Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce.

2016

Yantai Humon Logistics Co., Ltd. is listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations System for Small and Medium Enterprises in Beijing. Its securities are abbreviated as Humon Logistics, with a stock code of 836969, making it the first commercial logistics company in Yantai to be listed on the New Third Board.

2017

The group's revenue has exceeded 20 billion yuan and it has been listed among the top 500 manufacturing companies in China; The "New Technology and Industrialization Application Project of Bottom Blowing Smelting, Melting Reduction, and Oxygen Enriched Volatilization Continuous Smelting" of Humon Corporation won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

2018

The harmless treatment project for wet gold smelting waste residue and its supporting facilities have been completed and put into operation.

2019

The group has introduced Jiangxi Copper Industry to achieve strategic cooperation, while also promoting comprehensive enterprise reform.

2020

The restructuring of the Group has progressed steadily. All business segments have overcome the adverse effects of the COVID-19, and have made steady progress in reform, innovation, development and production, operation and management. Two enterprises have been recognized as high-tech enterprises, and two achievements have won the Shandong Province Brand Innovation Achievement Award. The group has once again been rated as a "Meritorious Enterprise in Mouping District".

2021

The restructuring work of the group continues to advance, and a new strategic layout has basically taken shape.
